Nuestros familiares, presos de conciencia, han iniciado una huelga de hambre el jueves 18 de marzo de 2010, para solicitar que se celebre un juicio justo o se proceda a su liberación sin restricciones o condiciones.
Las familias de los presos hemos advertido en declaraciones anteriores, como por ejemplo durante su primera huelga de hambre de cuarenta y ocho horas entre el 4 y el 5 de febrero pasados, de las consecuencias de la intransigencia del estado marroquí y el aplazamiento de sus legítimas demandas.
Mientras ahora vivimos las consecuencias, que ya habían sido advertidas, de que la falta de soluciones han forzado a nuestros hijos a comenzar esta huelga, en particular después de que la investigación fuera concluida por un tribunal militar hace 2 meses. Como consecuencia de anteriores encarcelamientos en cárceles secretas marroquíes, algunos de ellos han desarrollado enfermedades crónicas que amenazan sus vidas. Si el estado de Marruecos sigue sin prestar atención a nuestra advertencia inminentemente se producirá una catástrofe humanitaria.
Declaramos nuestra solidaridad plena con nuestros familiares en su batalla llegan de riesgos y graves consecuencias en cuanto a su salud, anunciamos al público lo siguiente:- Nuestro compromiso a nuestro derecho inalienable a la autodeterminación
- Nuestra condena al Estado marroquí por la detención de nuestros familiares y su intransigencia ante sus demandas legítimas
- Exigimos su derecho a un juicio justo y exigimos su liberación inmediata, junto con Mohamed Yahya Iaaza y todas los presos políticos, sin condiciones.
- Nuestra reclamación a las Naciones Unidas para que apoyen el llamamiento internacional a observadores de derechos humanos a que estén presentes en el Sáhara Occidental para asegurar la protección de los derechos humanos.
- Nuestra petición a todas las organizaciones de derechos humanos, fuerzas humanitarias y democráticas para que den su pleno apoyo a los presos políticos y presionen sobre el estado marroquí para su liberación.

Our sons prisoners of conscience have initiated an open ended hunger strike on Thursday, March 18th, 2010 In order to expedite the claim to either a fair trial, or to their release without restrictions or conditions.
As families of the prisoners above-mentioned we have warned in previous statements - during their first hunger strike for forty-eight hours on 04th and 05th last February - of the consequences of procrastinating and the intransigence of the Moroccan state for their legitimate demands.
While now we are living the consequences of what has been forewarned, with no choice left, our sons have been forced to begin this strike grudgingly particularly after the detailed investigations which were concluded with a military court 2 months ago. As a result of previous imprisonment in secret political prisons, some of them have developed serious life threatening illness. With the state of Morocco not heeding our warning this will imminently lead to a humanitarian catastrophe.
We declare our full solidarity with our sons in their battle fraught with significant risks and consequences regarding their health, we announce to the public the following:
Our commitment to our people's inalienable right to self-determination
Continued condemnation of the Moroccan State in the arrest of our children and its intransigence for their legitimate demands
Empower them of their right to a fair trial and demanding their immediate release, along with Mohamed Yahya Iaaza and all other political prisons without condition.
Our claim to the United Nations to support the international call for human rights monitors to be present in Western Sahara to ensure human rights are challenged.
Our appeal to all human rights organizations, humanitarian and democratic forces to give their full support to the political prisoners and put pressure on the Moroccan state for their release.
